U.S. Martial Arts Academy

Grand Master Yeon has an extensive background in martial arts and earned his first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do at the age of 14 while residing in Korea. He then migrated to the United States with his family at the age of 15 and continued his training under Grand Master Dong Jin Kim, based in the Chicago area, eventually earning his fifth-degree masters designation in Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do. Grand Master Gene Yeon is currently 7th Dan.

Grand Master Yeon refined his skills in both martial arts and instruction over the course of 10 years culmunating with the establishment of US Martial Arts Academy at Lincoln Plaza in Vineland New Jersey. The academy resided there from July 15, 1994 through July 30, 2002 and relocated to a A 7,200 sq. ft. Facility On 7.5 Acres at it's current location at 3430 Oak Road on July 31, 2002.

U.S. Martial Arts Academy's is celebrating it's 15th Anniversary in July 2009.
